You memorise it.
You read it.
Eyes slide off to a note.
Eyes stay on the lens.
Umm. Uh. Three-second gaps.
The next words are there.
One slip, take it from the top.
One slip, say that line again.
An evening in an editor.
Download it and post it.
You come out reciting.
You come out talking.

Reading it out is not cheating

The people who find a camera hardest are usually the ones with the most worth saying. They are not short of thoughts — they are unwilling to improvise past the good ones. Writing it down first is how the thing you actually meant survives being said out loud.

So we went through every teleprompter app we could find and put the work into the one thing all of them get in the way of: the right words in front of your eyes at the right moment, so you can look at the lens and forget the script is there.

How the online video teleprompter works

1

Paste your script

We reflow it into short reading lines — three to five words each, so your eyes stay near the lens.

2

Record while it scrolls

The text follows your voice and stops when you stop. Stumble? Just tap and say the sentence again.

3

Download & share

Straight to your camera roll, WhatsApp, Telegram or wherever you post. Subtitles included.

Three scroll modes

Auto-pause moves the script while you speak and waits when you stop — it listens for your voice, not your words, so accent and language do not matter. Linear runs at a fixed 60-200 words per minute. Adaptive learns your pace.

Lost your place? Step back a line

One tap moves the script back a line to read it again, or forward to skip one, without stopping the take. Afterwards, trim the start and end, or retake the whole take.

Subtitles from your script

Subtitles are built from the words you read, not transcribed from the audio, so names and terms are spelled the way you wrote them. Editable before export, with an .srt file.

Clean audio

Noise suppression and echo cancellation are on, and the clicks of the controls you press while recording are cut out of the sound.

Your videos stay on your device

Recordings are kept on the device that made them. When a device cannot render the final video itself, the recording is uploaded for the length of the render and deleted afterwards.

Inream Teleprompter is a video teleprompter and an online teleprompter in one: a teleprompter website that scrolls your script under the camera and records the video in the same browser tab, on a phone or a laptop. Nothing to install, no second device.

I've always tried to remember what to say, and it was always the same story: memorize the script, forget half of it, record again, get frustrated, repeat.

Using a teleprompter completely changed that for me. Now I can follow my script while still looking natural and confident, and most of the time I get the final video in just 1–2 takes.

And it's SO much easier: less stress, less time wasted, and I actually like how I look on camera now.

Questions people ask

What is Inream Teleprompter?

Inream Teleprompter is a teleprompter that runs in your phone or laptop browser: it records you with the camera while the script scrolls under the lens, follows or waits for your voice, and makes subtitles from your script.

Is Inream Teleprompter the same as Inmei Teleprompter or the Teleprompter Pro app?

No. Inmei Teleprompter and Teleprompter Pro (formerly Teleprompter Premium) are separate apps from other companies. Inream Teleprompter runs in your browser at teleprompter.inream.com — there is nothing to install.

Is it Inream’s language-learning app?

No. Inream also makes a language-learning app at lang.inream.com. Inream Teleprompter is a separate product for recording yourself on camera from a script.

Is Inream Teleprompter an online teleprompter or an app?

An online teleprompter — a teleprompter website that runs in the browser on your phone or computer. There is no app to download: open teleprompter.inream.com, paste your script and record.

Is it a video teleprompter — does it record while the text scrolls?

Yes. It is a video teleprompter: the script scrolls under the lens and the same tab records the video, so you finish with a file you can download and post, not just a scrolling text.

Does Inream Teleprompter record the video itself?

Yes. It records from your phone or laptop camera in the browser while the script scrolls under the lens. You do not need a second device or a camera app.

Does it work with any accent or language?

Yes. Auto-pause listens for your voice, not your words: the script moves while you speak and waits when you stop, so accent and language do not matter.
