BIGVU vs Inream Teleprompter
Updated 19 September 2026 · by Viktor, video creator
Choose BIGVU if you want one paid platform that records, edits with AI (WordTrim, eye-contact correction), captions from the audio and runs team workspaces. Choose Inream Teleprompter if you want a simple browser prompter that records you: the script waits when you pause, in any language, subtitles come word for word from your script, and videos are kept on your device.
We make Inream Teleprompter. The BIGVU column comes only from its maker’s own pages and app-store listing, checked on 18 September 2026; each cell links to its source.

Choose BIGVU if
- You want editing after recording: AI WordTrim removes “um”, repeats and long pauses from the transcript.
- You need team workspaces with roles, or AI dubbing.
- You want a cheaper paid tier without the watermark: Starter is $12/month (1080p, 9 minutes per video).
Choose Inream Teleprompter if
- You want nothing to install: it records in the phone or laptop browser.
- You want subtitles that match your script exactly, with an .srt file, on the free plan too.
- You want your videos kept on your device rather than in a cloud library.
Which one is cheaper?
BIGVU’s cheapest plan without a watermark, Starter, is $12/month and exports 1080p with a 9-minute limit per video. Its AI Pro plan costs $19/month, the same as Inream Teleprompter Pro monthly, and adds 4K. Inream Teleprompter Pro is $19/month, $35 for 3 months or $73/year and exports up to 4K where the camera allows.
How do they deal with mistakes?
BIGVU fixes mistakes after recording: WordTrim finds “um”s, repeats and pauses in the transcript and cuts them. Inream Teleprompter has no editor: during a take you can step the script back a line and re-read it, and afterwards you trim the start and end or retake the whole take.
Questions
Is Inream Teleprompter a BIGVU alternative?
Yes, for recording to camera from a script. It is not a video editor: if you need AI editing, B-roll or team workspaces, BIGVU does more.
Which is cheaper, BIGVU or Inream Teleprompter?
BIGVU Starter is $12/month (1080p, 9 minutes per video). Inream Teleprompter Pro is $19/month, $35 for 3 months or $73/year; its monthly price is the same as BIGVU AI Pro.
Which one exports 4K?
Both, on paid plans: BIGVU from AI Pro; Inream Teleprompter on Pro, capped by what the device camera provides.
Do both make subtitles?
