Choose Elegant Teleprompter if
- You record inside another Android app, such as the camera or a live stream, and want the script floating over it.
- You drive the scroll with a Bluetooth remote, or put the phone under a teleprompter glass with mirror mode.
- You would rather pay once: Pro is a $3.99 one-time purchase on Google Play.
Choose Inream Teleprompter if
- You want the video recorded where you read, trimmed and with subtitles, instead of lining up two apps.
- You want the script to wait when you stop talking; Elegant Teleprompter’s pages describe a speed you set.
- You record on an iPhone or a laptop as well as on Android.
A floating prompter or a recorder?
Elegant Teleprompter puts the script in a window over another app: you open the camera or a streaming app under it and record there. Inream Teleprompter is the camera and the prompter in one page: the script sits under the front camera, the take is recorded in the same place, and it comes out trimmed, with subtitles made from your script.
Who controls the speed?
In Elegant Teleprompter you set the speed and start or stop it with a tap or a Bluetooth remote. In Inream Teleprompter you can also set a fixed 60-200 words per minute, or let Auto-pause move the script while you speak and wait when you stop, so a pause does not leave you behind.
